So while we wait for the game to come back online I have some time to kill and I thought I would share what I use to make my pc as sharp as possible while gaming ( FPS and ping )

First of all I would like to say that while some of the teak I use makes a very noticable difference for me , it may not be as effective as it is for me that as it is for you.


What does ping means ?

The ping is the time it takes for your pc to communicate with the server and vice versa the lower it is the better it is .

What does that mean to me in game ?

If you have a higher ping your skills will have a delay . You can check your ping by typing this command in game /ping .

For exemple my ping is 52ms which means that everything I do in game takes 52 millisecond to be proceed which is a good number. Everything below 70 is very acceptable but the best number is 30 and below .

What can I do to reduce my ping ?

There is many things you can do to reduce your ping without having to pay anything.

1: Close all software that are using bandwith (Torrent , Skype , windows update etc)
2:Fastaping rebirth is a free korean software very easy to use , it doesnt require any instalation so you dont have to worry if you will understand all the rubbish language while using it <3

once it is done just minimize the program and open aion. (this program can be used with any software such as wtfast and battleping)

3:TCP optimizer (download it and just hit optimal settings then reboot)

4:set timer resolution (program that increase pc responsiveness)

once downloaded just hit maximum and minimize it (do not close it or it will go back to default settings)

5:lasso program (while in gaming mode) will make sure that no program interfere with your gaming making it smoother

6: you can also kill the processus ccc.exe and mom.exe in task manager it will increase your fps in game.
